Hi, I have a problem with my effect pedal Roger Mayer Vodoo Vibe.
The effects work , but the red led stay off when engage on.
any suggestion about the issue is well appreciated

If the change does takes place when you engage that function, but the LED does not light up then that red LED has gone bad.
Here at work with the the repairs I do I stock a whole bunch of 5 volt red LEDs.

Let's see. Broken wire?
Cold/cracked solder joint?
Failing resistor?
Failing drive transistor?
The list of possible causes just goes on and on. An LED not lighting, but still working on its own just means that ... anything... in the path from the power source to the LED is not letting current through.
A deadly effective way to debug pedals (and many other things, too) is to take the schematic and mark it with the DC voltage at each lead of every transistor, IC, and diode. With that in hand, an experienced electronic-ist can usually pick out the problem within one or two components. Just knowing an LED is not working is usually not enough info.
