Amplifier Startup Test

I built a Two Stroke years ago, but have completely forgotten the procedures for firing up a new amp build. I have a dummy load, lightbulb current limiter, and a variac. Can I get a checklist of startup procedures and tests to do on a new amp? I’m ready to fire up my Hoffman Princeton Reverb build. Thanks!
