"Parts is parts"?
IOW, you're buying these for the aesthetics. IMO. Which is not a terrible thing.

Jupiter caps won’t like this. They have a good product.

I haven’t used the electro caps. I tried to get them from CE Distribution and they had run out of stock.WhopperPlate wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 6:08 pmI like their electrolytic caps . Time will tell how they survive .
What do Jupiter electro’s bring to the circuit?

I hear them as warm and singing , not too much Marshall crunch . Punchy too. I like them as cathode bypass caps, they have a big impact on v1Mark wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 11:11 pmI haven’t used the electro caps. Anyone can buy (or steal) the rights to a brand name, and start producing product with the branding and look of the original (in this case being produced by "Shin-ei, LLC" perhaps another purchased brand name, lol.)
Call me cynical, but I propose that if they look really good it'd be hard to objectively rate these without a blind test.

Re: New Astron caps?!?
That definitely makes sense. There probably wouldn’t be any difference between them and Mallory 150’s. However, the look is important to owners of vintage Fender amps.mhuss wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 9:31 pm Anyone can buy (or steal) the rights to a brand name, and start producing product with the branding and look of the original (in this case being produced by "Shin-ei, LLC" perhaps another purchased brand name, lol.)
