PCB for octal PP guitar amp, PCB-mounted tube sockets?

Post by xtian »

Remember my failed attempts to repair a DV Mark Little 40? I'm looking for a solution to replace the whole circuit with something that can be mounted similarly in the non-traditional chassis. I want to find a PCB for a pair of octal power tubes and three noval preamp tubes, all with tubes-up, PCB-mounted tube sockets. The only thing I've found is this power amp board from London Power.

Here's the donor chassis:

I worked on an amp with one of those PCBs once, seemed to be designed well and sounded good after I removed someone's silly mods. Was sold as a "prototype" from a third party...
