Does the kt 45 have neg feedback?

I can confirm this. 1k/25u EF86 cathode, 220K plate. No NFB, weird tonestack that I guess one could call severely modified James. Fixed bias and vox 12ax7 PI
I have one here customer said was unusably bright, and he was correct. Treble on 0 was how he was running it, and it went from ok on that setting to OMG bright on 2, to are you effing kidding on 10
I tried a handful of things, including larger treble cap, that cut too much gain, as did a bleeder across the MV. I settled on a good ol fashioned 1n across the EF86 plate resistor.
This one had the SS rectifier plug in, and the EL34s it came in with were taking a beating at 500V plates and 47ma bias!

forgot to label the Treble pot but you get the idea. Great sounding amp now with new EL34s and snubber through 2x g12h-30
