A while back somebody posted a zip file that contained a few of the Z schematics (and layouts) I believe.
At least I think it was this forum.
I thought I had saved it but now I can't find it.
Anybody recall that or have that file?
Tom

I got 12 inches of snow coming your way to sunny California. Actually I can't wait to get back to San Diego and Fallbrook to see my relatives.

I loved living there in the 70's but real estate is nuts there.

Oh by the way my Dr Z Stangray with 212 bottom running alnico blues is my main amp so how about that!

Damn snow plow piled crap up three feet high it harden to rock solid and I had to bust it all up and shovel. For f**ks sake. I'm too old for this shit.

The first two are a 6545, not a KT45.

I'm guessing a 7k output transformer, I wonder if you could off set the secondaries of a dynaco a470 to make it aprox 8k?

oh ya, I'm talking about the root 66, do you think 150 ma is enough for the power transformer

Where did you get 7k?

Try 4-5k - a much better match for KT66s. An A470 would be just fine.

150mA is not enough. I would probably use Bassman Iron at ~240mA.

looking at the "leak" schematic, but I guess that's just because it was cathode bias
