Thanks for the plug... I have 250K Mil-Spec RV4NAYSD254 in stock
for $2.50 ea. they are Linear Taper
Also have Allen-Bradley RV4 type in the 100K's also at $2.50
And a Reon 30K RV 4 type longer shaft also at $2.50.
Also a 500K reverse log taper RV4 type Mil spec $2.50ea
I have smaller quantities in other values too. Just email me

Looks like there are several manufacturors of the RV4 pot then? I thought it was a Clarostat pot only.

I see that digikey sells RV4 too, but they are carbon, not conductive plastic though..

RV4 is a military number for a spec they have. There are a
few manufacturers of this number. That's why there so expensive.
They are all carbon pots...

OK.. The plastic pots at westlabs are 53c3 then I guess...

Is there really a tonal difference between Alpha - PEC - Clarostat? There is such a significant price diff from Alpha to the others, it really has me wondering if it's worth it.

Probably not much tonal difference, but mechanical difference.. Less noise..or more consistant maybe...
