Parts Express has a nice selection of solder at reasonable prices, and I believe I saw tinned buss wire listed on Apex Jr's site.

Partsexpress carries it, as well as lots of other electronics places.

+1 to the Kester 44 (got mine from all-spec). Bought 20 and 18 awg busswire through ApexJr.

That'll do fine. .031 is a good all-around guage, too. I can load up a turret with it and not use a foot of solder, but it's thin enough I can still use it on more delicate spots.
