Three Celestion G12 Speakers compared

My favourite from the recording is the g12 century (#t5272). It is a shame it got discontinued

I currently own a 2x12 with G12-65 and a Alnico Gold.

I am thinking about getting a second 2x12 with the G12 Century Neo (not the vintage) and a Alessandro AHEP Neo 12".

Has anyone tried those AHEP's?

I got a pair of ahep neos recently. To me, they sound similar to old jensen speakers but with a more controlled and tight low-end. Two speakers work well in a twin reverb

Thanks for sharing. I am longing to try them but Alessandro said he does not sell them as a stand alone. Did you get them on ebay or reverb?

For future reference attached the spec sheet comparing the discontinued G12 Century (made in UK) versus the G12 Century Vintage (made in China I think).

Given the Century has been discontinued I asked Celestion for these since I could not find it online
