Had one of these across the bench this morning. It was suffering from dirty
pots and interconnects. There's nine 12ax7's to replace in these $$$$.
Nice unit, as carvins usually are, I did notice what looked to be last minute
factory mods to the pre pcb associated with the gain ch's. Sloppy.
Looks like somebody on the design team wasn't paying attention, maybe a
cheap fix to design issue. ser. # 087871
