Need info to help with dissertation

Hey guys, just came across the forum when looking for some info to help me finish my dissertation (all valve powered, rack mounted guitar head....). I figured i would just start one general thread for questions that may come up from me but firstly,

What are the best books to explain all the general information about valve amps, the design, function, theory etc??

If someone could get back to me that would be great, kind of only have a week to finish this (the amp is built btw, just need the info now!)
