I want to put together an 100W 4x6L6 amp with a Twin reverb channel and something Soldano like for a high gain channel.
The SLO uses a 2.5K primary while the Twin uses a 1.9K. Any suggestions for off the shelf transformers? The hammond Twin replacement looks fine and cheap at $70, and since I mainly want this amp for the twin channel I guess I should voice it as close to the twin as possible.
How cheap would it be to get Heyboer or Edcor to make me a dual primary OT?
OT suggestions for a Twin / SLO hybrid?

Re: OT suggestions for a Twin / SLO hybrid?
I've put together a power side around kt90, nice sounding tube, and a plate
dissipation of 50w. You can use of the shelf opt: twin, tone master, and 100w jcm800.
Use the speaker load to get close to published plate loading.
A cheap 310ma twin pt will get you 35w plate dissipation per tube without
stressing.
The hammond replacement twin pt has a published 450ma I think.
Two kt90 should match the total plate figure for 4 6l6, and its the same ps circuit
as a any old fender. Nothing but parts selection.
