OHM'S LAW?
OK, off topic here. I've got this old solidstate amp (yamaha g100), and the speaker out is 16 ohms. I want to hook up two 8 ohm speakers. Can this be done? The diagrams I have say no. HELP

Re: OHM'S LAW?
Wire the speakers in series.
8 + 8 = 16
Ohms law says you add values in series and divide in half in parallel (if the two values are of equal value).
You want to wire the - negative of one speaker to the + positive of the other speaker the take one wire from each speaker to a plug.
