I have a mildly broken Champ 12 (input jacks and pots) and was thinking of building an Allen style 'wreck in it. I don't think the amp is worth all that much. Maybe $200 if I fixed it. Crap speaker etc. But it has a usable cabinet, chassis, PS and probably the appropriate transformers.
Any thoughts ? I guess that the right cab,transformers and chassis would run $180 or more .
