Too bad. Great amps, with "overdesigned" power supplies and excellent tone. He was a brilliant designer. Never found the cachet of Fender or Marshall, but IMO deserved it.

Absolutely! He really put quality first and was truly original and way ahead of the times in some aspects. I have an old ygl that is awesome. And I've never seen another cabinet design like it. It's a 2-12 combo with a top plate much like a backplate-4 screws and u are inside the chassis with no obstructions. Sad to hear.
If Hendrix had lived would he have been as good as EDDIE? (Shaver that is)
