My Max top refin about 10 years later

Post by Reeltarded »

Was the Nashville Amp thing in 2012?

I took this Max on trade in 2009 and the finish was tragedy. So ugly. I stripped the top, recarved it to match Scarface, then reshot.

Here is the fade.

Nashville the month after refin

I might redo the whole guitar just to complete the neck recarve.. but I might not touch the top.. thinking.

Looks like I love it as-is.

Nashville Amp Expo? If memory serves, didn't occur in 2012. I went to 2011, wanted to go to 2012. Irrelevant, other than - wow, were we possibly in the same building and I never met you?!? Hmm...

Can't agree more and I barely knew him. He knew I was working on a trainwreck and sent me parts for free...

That alone speaks volumes :) (Others have done similar things here on this forum, it's full of excellent people like that)

Damn! Sorry I missed that. I do remember talking with at least one other member there... txbluesboy - Terry, from Longhorn Amps.

He's a great guy.
