Hey guys,
+1 +1 +1 on all that.
Very surprising.
Jon is an extremely humble guy, and equipment aside, a very fine player.
Answer to all that...... Know your equipment.
I've gotten a similar sound (and response) through a self-tweaked Roland GT-3 into an Alesis RA-100 stereo Power amp into a 2x12 Yamaha closed back cab wired in stereo, using my FrankenStrat.
Didn't want to say anything before, since I'm on a 'Tube Amp' site, for fear of flameage. People on this board seem a little more mature, and not as prone to dissing as other "Tube" sites, however.
Thanks for your research guys.
And Jon, if you're ever by this board, stop in and say hi.
See ya,
-Dave

Re: Killer Blues Player
the super 210 can be turned into a completly different sounding amp, buy unplugging the 2x10s and plug it into a 4x12 cab [that matches the imp.]
You can do the same thing with alot of the fender amps, try it and you'll hear a big change. And almost always for the better..
