sad day
I did not take part in the situation but am very saddend by the whole thing I see a few people that contribute on that level to this place and I am always on the board but like most of the people here I am mostly absorbing info and hardly ever contribute dont get me wrong if some one comes on with a newbie question I can answer I jump at the chance I would love to contribute more. matth seems to have had a bit of a chip on his shoulder but overall was a great contributor here ,if you didnt see this maybe you dont read as much as some others.it is so sad that he deleted his posts or you could go back and read how smart the man really is. but the whole point of this place is sharing of information he apperently has decided he didnt want to share any more. but dont worry Im sure cbass and the other people that felt like they needed to knock the chip off his shoulder can help you with your builds. fft plzz

I'm getting some popcorn.
Re: Deleted Posts - Policy Change Possible?
Not to stir the pot, but we only have a story told by one person about his life.
Remember, everything you read on the internet is not true.
I am not suggesting that obfuscation was employed in this matter.
But maybe, trust but verify.
I'm not against members asking for help or advice about non amplifier subjects.
Heck, I have asked for support when my wife was sick and you guys really helped me.
Or when I had a heart attack.
Also, when you post on a public forum, it isn't only your amp buddies reading them, but conceivably millions of people.

You guys don't know everything about me. Lots of you think I am weird because of how things go.. and I am.
Life is a mess.
I can't expect to have you care to sift through all my troubles to discover who I really am, so we'll keep it as simple as we can and enjoy each other's company as much as possible.
There is no advantage to dumping here.

Re: Deleted Posts - Policy Change Possible?
I seriously doubt that there will be one question that will go unanswered because matt took his toys and went home. There was quite a bit of shit that went along with those 'answers'. Paranoid Personality Disorder leads to obnoxious behavior for sure. When a child throws a tantrum, one can pacify the child and reinforce the behavior. That's not everyone's approach, thankfully.
The mindset that leads a member to try and delete all posts over a small disagreement is very similar the one that pulls out a knife and claims self-defense. Those are both tantrums of sorts and it's always someone else's fault. How's that for a blunt, shitty opinion? ?

I come here for the amp mentoring not life mentoring, and the frequent good laugh. Plus:
