Corona Ampworks dbl deluxe 5E3 Will the owner speak up?

Post by bnwitt »

Quite a while back I traded a newly built double deluxe 5E3 to a gentleman in here who builds fine quality cabinets. That amp was for his son and as I like to do with all the amps (children) I build, I thought I would check up on how the little beast is doing. Problem is I can't remember who has the amp and I lost some records due to a hard drive failure.

So, whoever you are, I'd just like to know if she is working well and how the tone is after break in.

Mark,
Hey Mark. I hope all is well with you. Are you still building amps?

This particular double Deluxe was a Hoffman style layout I did myself so I'm wondering how it is being perceived by the owner tonally. I didn't have much time to test it before I shipped it.

Thanks for the welcome.

No news is good news, I imagine. If they weren't happy with it, you'd probably be the first to know ;)
