2003 Road King Firefighter's addition. 6800 miles. GREAT PRICE. Vet back from Afganistan, works for Reno FD. Starting a family and buying a house. It was now or never for me. I ain't getting any younger. Yes it does have the windshield. Drove it home today. Weighs a bit more than my old RD-350 but I love the air again. What a hoot.

Congrats, looks like you are in a good place for riding. Put a passenger seat back rest on it and you won't have to ride alone!

I need to get my bike back on the road, it's been sitting around for too long.

Man I wish I had the RD. Incredible machine. Pink slip stealer. Not many around anymore. Don't know why. No parts I guess. Mine's been gone a long time. The hog is more my style these days.

Great looking scoot Skyboltone! I too like the hue.
My brother had an RD 350 so I bought the Kawi three lunger KZ 400. The Yami
was the hands down superior bike! But for a while I could stay ahead of the
RD. I think the gearing and power band was what made that possible.
They say those windshields will lop your head off if you flip the bike. I can
see the benefit of less bugs in your teeth though. I flipped a bike once when
a wasp flew into my shirt and started nailing me around my shoulders. This
was off Skyline right behind Stanford coming down Page Mill on a Sunday
in July.

Heheheh,
I used to ride a Kawasaki 750 triple.
These were two stroke crotch rockets that had a lot of power.
It was super quick and fast.
But handled like a truck in the turns.
I did a lot of engine work on it to make it go faster.
It would pull third gear wheelies no problem.
Here's me about 1980.
I never could figure out why the rear tire would only last 300 miles.

Damn Dan! I am JEALOUS!
I have wanted a Fat Boy for a long time. Things are changing in my life, so eventually I will own one. I also have fond memories of the RZ350 Yamahas. Wicked fast and handled like a dream. Out here in Cali, you really need a Harley with open pipes so that you don't get run down by the lousy drivers.
