I'm home again.

The generator I read about was similar to this one:

Except it had the coils cast in epoxy to hold them rigidly in place. The Neodymium magnets were also cast in epoxy. This allowed the assembly to keep very small spacing between the armature and magnets for better coupling and more power out.

I hope I have the links at work as I can't find them at home.
