When I'm not making amps

Post by Tdale »

I like to make movies:

Took me a year to finish. The ending is intentional and under control

If your amps come out as well as your video, I gotta hear one!

Made me think of that Talking Heads tune -- "Burning down the house....."

I really like the movie but why the fire? Was it intentional?

Yes. It was an old house that was falling apart. The fire departement used the house for a fire drill.

Cool video. The planing I just can't imagine. You knew a year before that the house was going to be burnt down? Or you thought that would make a great ending, I got get this house burnt down? I loved the time lapsed ground but the real time cars driving by and the bicyclists. You must have had the camera nailed down or did you have to register every frame after the fact?

didn't know about the house when I started.

I sometimes had to take the shots several times, because I had to use a tri pod, that was removed between shots. Sometimes the horizontal angle would be wrong, but usually I managed to adjust the clips in Adobe Premiere, to make them seamless.

Great film! I like how the cars passing by through a scene where the season is changing. That is just magical. Watching the cars disapear only to fade back in. Way cool. Very peaceful scene even with the house fire. Good music as well. I wish I could make it my screensaver. Your doing great work.
