Googlectomy
I just had my Google removed. Orwell never considered that the corporation would become the government in such a way.
An alternative will present itself. I am not going to have apps suggesting how I should act, and where I should go. If I need a nosy assed secretary of the state, I'll let them know.
Eff you, Google.

Neither did the founding fathers ever foresee that a corporation could vote either.Reeltarded wrote:I just had my Google removed. Orwell never considered that the corporation would become the government in such a way.
And what of the freedom of foreign entities to influence our elections via super PACs? Now everyone is free to have their say - regardless of nationality.
It's a strange time...

Re: Googlectomy
I just heard about this.
How is it different from what Google was already doing?
What is the downside?
TIA

Please understand that IMO an answer to this question is of no practical relevance at all. - Max

It works pretty good! I really don't like Bing, and the other engines seem scary because they look like generated phishing sites!
Thanks!
