Back. Spades. It isn't the vertigo as much as the swelling in my ear canal that hurts and keeps me awake that sucks. I feel like kicking something really hard but I thing the pressure would make blood shoot out of my left ear.

It's about to drive me insane.

Sorry to hear. My wife had something similar a while back. It came out of nowhere and disappeared on its own after a while. Docs ran many tests and found nothing wrong. They said it has to do with fluid level in the inner ear. Hope your's last short.

My dad went To MAyo after three doctors told him he had months to live.He lived another 25 years after that.I think the fact that he was tough as iron and never stopped fighting had as much to do with it than the medical treatment.He basicaly had every internal organ either removed or hacked.(One lung.half pancrease,A kidney.Half his liver.part of his stomach) and could still work a young man into the ground

He had a super rare cancer That like 8 people had in '74 They were all dead before '75.He was mentioned in some medical journals.AFAIK noone witht hat kind of cancer ever lived more than a couple years.That has prabably changed by now.

Pour some moonshine in your ear and let it soak bout 30 secs couple times a day.Tell your distiller that its for medical use and you don't want it proofed

It's probably benign paroxysmal positional vertigo or BPPV. I have had bouts with this twice and my doctors couldn't figure out what it was. Then about a year ago a good friend was having the same symptoms and went to a specialist at Stanford and diagnosed him with BPPV. I googled it and sure as shit it matched exactly what I experienced years before. Mine went away both times within a couple of weeks, my friend had his stick around for over 6 months. There are treatments for it, so get your google on and see if this might be your issue.

Yes I have a cup of fluid in my ear every 42 seconds. Been to the doctor back in January. The meds cleared it up a little for a while but this is so much more pain than it was. Amazing shit that suddenly feels like being stabbed in the head. Maddening. I can deal with pain pretty well. This is stupid!

I think you were down for part of the time but I was literally knocked unconcious for nearly five weeks straight from the falling thing. I wish I had that back! Trade any day.

My left eye waters constantly and the passages in my head are inflamed. No doubt some of this is allergic crap with a bit of infection.

Wow, sounds terrible Miles! Hope it clears. A friend of mine had some similar trouble a while ago, caused by an infection he picked up in the south pacific. He eventually got rid of it but for a while it would come and go.

I feel your pain Miles.
Literally.
So bad I couldn't walk.
Nausea, ear pain, the whole deal.
Doc's tried antibiotics but that was useless.

Two weeks, then gone.
Now it returns every few years but thankfully not too serious.
Each time, it's just wait it out.

I don't think mine is an allergy, just a malfunction in the inner ear.
