George Benson is a good example here. All the way up to, and including Breezin', he was producing great music. But with the success of Breezin' came a whole new disco / bubble-gum pop Benson. He did finally redeem himself with the release of Tenderly, but there was about 20 years of total crap in between Breezin' and Tenderly....

Lately I've been listening to Walter Becker's 2008 solo album Circus Money. I wasn't aware of its existence until I saw it mentioned in some of the obituaries.

Jeff Beck - LIVE Full Concert 2017
Performance for a European TV channel, I guess. Audience disconcertingly looks like entire population of Del Boca Vista, Phases I, II and III.

One of my top two favorite bands, I LOVE the new album Villains, outstanding work.

I just saw them live at Riot Fest in Chicago and it was outstanding as well. My third ever amp build was a Gibson EH-185 because Josh was playing one in them crooked vultures (another epic band)

OK, here's a weird one.

I've had this song stuck in my head for at least 30 years, and could never remember who did it or what it was called.

This was released in '74, during my Yes/Pink Floyd "progressive rock" days (AKA "acid rock" at the time).

It's a long song, but after finally finding it, I had remembered it almost exactly after not hearing it for well over 30 years.
