Hey Mark; There is so much to be said about these events. You've really hit the nail head with the "get-er-dun" sentiment. I fully expect another 20 years on the planet but every little twinge gets me to thinking you know.

My bro in law has a saying to support his multiple bad habits...."Some people are so afraid of dying they don't ever live". I support that idea somewhat although when it comes to bad behavior one has to factor in quality of life too.

Through the last few years I've acquired a ton of projects. They are getting thinned out day by day; by re-selling. I want to plan the future one project at a time.

One needs to pay attention to Yoda's advice to Luke Skywalker about learning to live in the moment.

Condolences to you my friend.

Sad news Mark, and I'm sorry to hear it.
The loss of a friend is always a cold smack wake up call about our own mortality.
The loss of of a sympathetic and supportive friend is a gaping void in one's life.
My thoughts are with you.

Thank you guys.

We can always can count on support from this group whether it's electronics or support in bad times. When I got the word Kevin had passed I said your kidding right? I think we say things like that because we don't want to hear it.

I did the dishes and now to get other things done. My wife travels a lot so I need to step it up a whole bunch to keep the home clean. She works so hard the way it is. :)

Condolences. Don't worry about finishing all your projects, unless you're a pharaoh building a pyramid. It's not a race, have fun while it lasts.

No the projects I'm referring to are small amps for my grand children made by grandpa. I should have stated that. :)

Each will have a SE tube amp combo and Fender mini strat to remember me by. I have 3 grandkids and one in the hopper and so far I've only completed one amp. The truth is, it probably means more to me then it will to the kids but that's OK. They will have memories of the goofy stuff I do when we have play time. :)

Sorry for your loss Mark.

I seem to be losing quite a few of my friends lately. That 'impermanence lesson' has been the hardest for me.

Bummer Mark.

Seems like as we get older we have to say goodbye to more and more people we know.

I guess I now know why the elderly check the obits daily.

Most of us will leave a mark in society, lets just hope it's a good one.

Condolences and prayers sent your way.
Tom
