wow, he seems so nice and humble!

i keep remembering that thread here about how nice old grannies built the awesome amps that we covet, and didnt feel the need to act all uppity and weird about it... sorta also reminds me of my experience as a electricians apprentice. worst job evar!! apparently every single journeyman or foreman has such a huge johnson! if you ask questions they just try to make you feel stupid, and if you need to ask questions and dont its even worse, couldnt win. "i know something you dont know! nanner nanner nanner! go grab a shovel" give me a break... i went back to school and shot higher!!

makes me really appreciate all you awesome guys and gals :D

rawk on!

"When is the last time you saw a grown man cry over his tone?"

Hoo boy. All the time Mistah Lackhard.

Oh you mean GOOD tone?

32 ohm cab whaaaaat? Mated to what OT?

"That amp sounds like Jimi Hendrix"

Not without Jimi playing thru it.

What a load of claptrap.

I swear I've seen half this hype somewhere else before. There's some familiar phrases.

This guy's got his schnoz in the flour sack. If ya know what I mean.

FWIW BB's home town is Moraga, near Concord north of SF. Laggard's rapping on and on about Orange County, south of LA.

So, I guess there is another. What happens when they meet each other? I'd like to find out.

Thanks for pointing this out xtian! Very amusing indeed.

Now "out of business." Whew... no wonder.

I need a nap now, the struggle just to read it drained the life out of me. See, just reinforces why I avoid TGP.

And that's just what they did. Explains why he's out of biz.

Laggard amps - well maybe their tone really IS okay.

HIS tone - oy! put sticking fingers in ears smiley thing here.

Maybe his kid learned from Dad. And is out on his bike, throwing newspapers onto porches. Or practicing his rap. "Want fries with that?"

I'm guessing the 32 ohm cab is an attempt to drive the output harder at lower volume.

32 ohm cab on 4 ohm taps might let the power tubes get into breakup at the lower volume he seems to want.

Nope - tried, but couldn't do it. It's like trying to relax while listening to shred. Doesn't work for me - too many words/notes...

Looks like they are still making them...although after reading the posts on TGP I wouldn't really be interested. Maybe it's BB's brotha?
