I have always enjoyed the way Steve Wiwood plays guitar.
In my book, he has always been one of those "underrated players".....

I don't think I've read that book......

Steve's a songwriter and a half. I think I posted this in "What are you listening to right now" some while back. I go through periods when I have to watch it 50 times in a row or I'm just not gonna make it you know?

The song has only gotten better through the years. Clapton is doing his JJ Cale thing with the fills. He learned that after all the dope. Much better that way.

Is it still a cover when you wrote the song? Really?

Yeah and to think he was like 17 years old on the first album.

Winwood sounds great, great song.
Would have loved to hear Derek open up on that.

I enjoy so many different versions of this song, but the original is brilliant. I especially love the live radio version with Bonnie Raitt and Lowell George.

I guess I relate to this song because a time or two after college, the title summed up my end of the evening.

I was being facetious. One of my kids said something similar once, and I had to explain 'those are the same guys, they've just aged quite a bit.'

Only if you're John Fogerty.
