When you look in an electronic recycling box at work and find a perfectly good Tektronix 2230 oscilloscope....

And a 12 volt 40 amp bench power supply.

Both with their fuses removed to render them inoperable... apparently it was cheaper to scrap them than to keep them in cal.

Yeah i was lucky on the Tek scope, 100 Mhz analog with storage - should be a great analog scope for audio purposes.

The amount of equipment and obsolete components that are thrown away in industry is amazing.
