Set list app?

Post by Gibsonman63 »

I upgraded my PA to the new Soundcraft ui16. This is an absolutely wonderful piece of gear. My sound guy runs it with a surface. I bought an iPad so I can tweak my monitor on the fly. Now that I have this, I want to dump my book and music stand. I make it a point to learn the lyrics, but in a four hour show, I need a little help on a few songs. My iPad is wifi only, so I am looking for an app that I can keep my set list stored in memory along with lyrics to a few songs that is easy to access while I tune, crack jokes and order more beer for the band. Suggestions?

+1 for Onsong. Great for storing lyrics also.

Thanks a bunch gents. I downloaded Set List Maker this evening. I did not think I needed this much power until I had it. It has really nice database functions for sorting my songs to make sets for specific gigs and I can attach PDF files to display lyrics for songs that are giving me grief. I still have a lot to learn about this.

Yes, these are full-featured apps. OnSong allows one person to be the maestro/bossman for the entire band--you can sync everyone's iPads in a live setting, and let one person turn pages for the whole band.

Heeheehee,

Set lists were printed on paper and everyone had one.

But it never failed that three different band members would start three different songs.

Kinda reminds me of Primus with no chops.
