Oh man, I feel your pain... been there twice, never again. Don't do what I did and fall for the rebound. Thought I was doing a good thing for my young girls but it turned into a train wreck from hell, resulting in the second divorce.
IF you have kids, follow the parenting plan to a tee. Enforce it. The women have the advantage and you'll get screwed. Remember that it is the ex you are divorcing, not the kids - who have an undenying love for Dads.

Chin up man, it gets better, your not alone and think of it as a new Avenue in life. Sorry if I sound like an ass, it's hard but gets better. Look to the future my friend it gets better quicker than you think.

Yeah, we're doing pretty well as far as sharing the kiddo goes. I actually get him a little more often than is stipulated. I'm not worried about taking her to court to pay less child support, though...I already am paying more than I have to so my son can stay in his home. He's a pretty good kid. The hope is that us separated is better for him than us together...I guess time will tell!

Money usually becomes an issue, and the child or children become the bargaining chip.
Try to avoid this at all costs.
Good luck, hang in there.

Hang in there, man. It will get better. It used to piss me off when people said that, but they were all right.

Stay close to your kids and never, never, never put them in the middle of it.

Have no fear... The light switch will flip one day soon and you will want your hobbies back!

Been there twice. The first one I did not want, The second one I did want. It hurts both ways. I have also grown and become a better man each time. I am married again and truly believe I got it right this time. Just keep smiling man. Life is an amazing ride.

Sounds like someone I know when he said that exact same statement right after his second time, he's wrapping up his 5th now. One of them, he married his first wife a second time. I asked him recently what was the matter with all those girls, he didn't get it and it just went right over his head!

Reminds me of one of my favorite Red Green lines:
Howard, you must know what women want, you've been married five times!

And the answer was:
Um-um-world peace! And a new remote for the television!

I'm on my second marriage. There won't be 3..
I told my second wife this & got big doe eyes from her.
Then I told her it's easier to murder someone than divorce them.
Rabbit in the headlights...
I should add that my second wife is a truly amazing person & I love her to bits.
