The attack page listing happened sometime in the first week of June, 2015. The Amp Garage has been on the attack page listing for seven months now.

Edge, & no warnings.

Post by Sone Aura »

After my aunt passed away I had to throw together a portable office and hit the highway for Colorado. I knew I would probably wind up in some horrid motel, so I bought a cheap laptop with Windows 8.1 (YUCK), which was upgraded to Windows 10. Windows 10 has a new browser called Microsoft Edge. I get no warnings on it, and I am back in. I am using the Sone Aura shop name, as my user name as I forgot the Satchmoeddie user name password, so yeah it's me, Jelle, & all you other guys. Glad it's back up again! :D

Condolences about your aunt.

Accessing google doesn't depend on OS or browser, so I'm not at all sure how some people getting and others not getting warnings works out. Browser cache? Cookies?

The problem isn't just the BIG RED DANGER pop-up, but when you search google you get stalled at a very reasonable authoritative warning page with the link inactive that you are forced to cut and paste (if you dare!).

A teacher once said to me I have trouble w/ authority (I replied, thanks that's the the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me) so I blew right past this fence, but google search is how newbies discover TAG and lack of fresh blood is what is really killing off the forum. The database of brilliant tube amp info is pretty much shut off to the digital faint of heart (like 99% of people). Half those people will think the forum's infected (google told me so) other half after almost a year of this crap will think it's just gone off-line to the internet graveyard (which doesn't exist, data is forever).

Granted if we can get the warnings to end, with 8 billion tube lovers on the planet, things should pick up again as if nothing ever happened.

I ran a search on virustotal.com both on April 17 and again today, just to see what could be found. It looks like 3 out of 67 malware reporting sites are reporting a problem. I don't know what it means exactly...

Can we send a memo to all that we should reconvene over at rj's site?

http://diyguitaramps.prophpbb.com/

Is there a way to start porting important docs and info to something safer? Maybe take a poll on moving the traffic over there. At least the ships captain is available there.

The framework for the site is already nicely set up, fresh paint, etc.. There are plenty of us that have some extensive schematic and layout collections. We could help to populate the info section over there.

Just sayin'... the grass sure does look greener anyway.

I've been checking out the diyguitaramps site, but it seems to only work sometimes.
