Haven't built one yet. I have a Hubsan with the camera. Looking at the Taranis for controller. Open source so open ended on features.

So many uses. Saw that crazy Russian that made a remote firing pistol on a drone, a guy fishing with a drone, what's next?

I dunno, but it'll probably have something to do with sex 8)

I can imagine heavy use in porn videos, leading to the inevitable "Porn drone goes crazy" videos on YouTube

How about a website where the paying user has control of the porn drone while a sex scene is performed? Should I call the Shark Tank?

Here's mine. It's a PITA to fly, but only cost $15.

Is that the Cheerson CX-10 nano drone I've seen on eBay?

Exacto. It's remarkably cool for the price. Flies about 5 minutes on a 30 minute charge. A good intro into drones. But not easy to do any precision flying, because it has no smarts. You have to constantly trim the controls to get it to hover in place. Great hand-eye exercise, tho!

I'd like one to bring me a cold beer when I'm floating around in the middle of the lake...

This is actally really cool, I guess asking for a beer delivery is rather simplistic:
