Shipping rates?

Post by jaysg »

Who has the best rates right now?

Anyone who has shipped anything large, heavy or just odd, knows that the rates were raised by all players in January. Several years ago, USPS introduced the flat rate boxes, and frankly, domestic and international shipping was simplified. I guess they made a mistake.

A friend wants me to ship him something the size and weight of 6 guitar string packs into the EU and I can't find anything within reason. $25 or more.

Deals go to the frequent shippers. Just got a box o parts, 4½ pounds shipped "overnight" from Mouser in Texas, UPS freight about $9.50. Go figure....

Shipping rates are crazy. I just shipped 2 padded envoplopes with caps and small parts they were over 7$ each. Not much profit on 20$ sales. Hope buyers enjoy there items. If i didnt need funds in paypal i wouldnt bother.
