Cool that reproduces it for me, btw for what you're asking just right click on the linkable subject of that post and 'copy link' then paste it like so:
http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 71#p163003
See how it has a f=5 (forum 5) t=12871 (topic 12871) p163003 (post 163003) that should take you directly to the exact comment.

Gah, now this makes no sense, some of the pdf files that were fine before are now failing. You can disable the extension at the user level, I'll try that.

Never mind, it wasn't related to that add-on, I've disabled it for myself and it still happens, but sometimes it doesn't. Frustrating to say the least. It also happens with Firefox so it's got to be something with the hosting provider and php scripts

Phil, can you set the board so that links in messages open in a new window rather than the current window?

I have an addon alread enabled called "External links open in a new window" and it's worked for me just fine. Are you sure they're external and not links to this boards files/attachments? If not, maybe it has an option to disable it in your user settings and it's disabled?

Here's an external link:
http://sluckeyamps.com/VAC15/Vox_AC15.pdf
you probably know that one, but it's just a test.
Here's an internal one:

Hopefully those work, I'll test now.

Yup, as I expected, the external links open in a new window, the local ones stay in the same one. At least for me.

Yes, they are external. And yes, that feature was disabled in my settings. Working fine now. Thanks... SteveAre you sure they're external and not links to this boards files/attachments? If not, maybe it has an option to disable it in your user settings and it's disabled?

Why is there a Tapatalk ad at the top of the forum on my mobile?

I would love to see a screenshot, I've never seen it. I use the tapatalk app myself and installed their tapatalk integration to support it, but I wasn't aware they'd do so. I think maybe it's not an 'ad' as much as a suggested app, but not sure.

Like this. I consider this an ad, and an annoying one too!

From what I gather, it almost seems like it isn't something on the board itself, but a 'feature' of the browser, chrome and apple's safari for IOS both have the ability to offer an app for you, if they think it fits what you're needing. I'm still trying to see if there's some way to disable it on the board itself and I cant' find anything about it.

I think perhaps you are right... I've just upgraded my iOS, and I see for example a similar invite to visit the App Store and get Facebook's app.

Yeah and I've seen similar things on my android device for chrome when I go to some sites, "check out our mobile app" but its like yours, almost a separate thing from the browser window itself.
