Anyone using Tapatalk?

Post by Mark »

I had been using it but found it to be too clunky for me. It didn't offer any advantage as The Amp
Garage was the only forum I used it for.

Pro's and con's?

I see a number of people are using it because their posts say something like "posted via taptalk" in their sigs. I've been curious as to what it is, so I finally googled "what is taptalk?". After reading several of the results of the search, I'm still a bit unclear as to what it does, exactly, but I can tell you it could be worse; a number of people were complaining because on the particular forums they haunt, they get a popup every time they try to post from their mobile device, prompting them to install it. It's so irritating that some of them have stopped participating from mobile devices.

It's a mobile app, so you can easily read and post from your phone or tablet. I like it. Your mileage may vary :)

I didn't find it any easier to use than the normal forum, in fact it was a bit harder to use. I thought I might have overlooked something.
