Vinyl decals

Post by xtian »

Don't forget vinyl decals as a nice way to customize your builds. I just got this vinyl cut at a local shop, and applied it to my footswitch and travel case:

The vinyl is self adhesive. This is the stuff used on shop windows. It will stay put. You'd have to spray a HEAVY coat of clear to make any difference.

this is a vinyl decal stuck straight on to the chassis

I've used them for all my 'Dumble' builds.

Still wearing well after a couple of years of abuse.

I just got a local print shop to do it. Hard bit is doing the design/measurements accurately first , I got my graphics designer who does a lot of my CD artwork to do it :D

you have to have a whole sheet done so I ended up with about 6 of these on a small sheet of vinyl. Cost about £35-40 I think.
