New Guitar

Post by MeanMrMustard »

I put this guitar together recently. Stained and finished it with aniline dye and Tung oil (thanks for the tips Mikey!). Solid piece of swamp ash and a ridiculously large maple neck. Snakeheadstock. Gotoh hardware. Handwound 1950 Broadcaster spec'd pups by John Galep. I love this thing.

The Red Witch.

Thanks! That's actually the 1471 from '62. I posted about it here years ago. Arrived in bad shape. Seller tried to pull a fast one and I ended up getting it for free! :o

I believe these to be one of the best (if not the best) low wattage sleeper amps with a Les Paul.
