Gibson really is going to the shitter aren't they, someone fire that new CEO and get someone in that likes guitars and music.

Ultimate relic! When something like this slips out....make it a feature. Yeah we saw the need. Comes with a stripped rod for an additional fee.

They should have switched to scarf joints.

Scarf joints yes.

My humble opinion-- but given the neck wood used on Gibsons, and the nature of the grain of that wood -- and the weight of the guitar and the grain run-out with a cut like that,
This is an obvious design flaw that a high prestige company like Gibson should have addressed long long ago

OK Now I will run and hide from the flames.
I love Gibbys BTW. I have 2 les pauls
