Fender American 'Original' Series

Post by tubeswell »

So Fender replaces American Vintage Series with American Original Series

https://www.fender.com/pages/american-o ... ars-basses

WTF? Even the name 'Original' is too optimistic.

Dunno, I seem to think that the new ones have smart ideas, they've taken them from the most requested custom shop builds and standardized a few of those, i.e. the most requested combination of new and old features, so at any rate, I think it's a LOT smarter than the stupid BS that Gibson's pulling lately. I'm hoping somehow they shit can that horrid new CEO and get someone in that's a really creative person that can move gibson in an intelligent path, and improve QA/QC etc.
