Is CE Dist/Tubes and more Sites down?

Post by mmmoser »

Hi- I have been trying to log into CE Distribution (or its non commercial account site Antique Electronics known as tubesandmore.com) and I am having my browsers reject the access to the sites saying them are not secure as well as my NOD32 Antivirus blocking the sites. Is anyone else had this experience? These are pretty big business sites, so being down is a bad thing for them and those of us that order our parts through them.

Losers let their SSL certificate expire today. If you can bypass the warnings, you can view the site anyway.

Looks like they've renewed them. They're using a free ssl cert for a for profit company? well they just paid for it... Lets Encrypt certs expire every 3 months, but are free. I use them a ton, but it is a hassle to have to renew them, but I ain't paying the hundreds for a cert per year when you only have to renew yearly. So it's a trade off. They may have lost business due to that lapse.
