I've had a telecaster made for me

Post by norburybrook »

It's been a while since I ordered this guitar and got on the waiting list here in the UK. http://www.grayguitars.london/

I went and chose the woods at the end of July and it's now finished.

I'm picking her up tomorrow. Lovely eh?

one piece swamp ash body. Quarter Sawn AAAA roasted flame maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard. Hand wound radio city pickups, Mastery bridge, Dunlop super pots.

Looks great and lovely pickups combo.
One amp only, I’d say at least two...

Hello --

Very special nice. Great colour matching. Got this weird black lump where a shiny plated neck pickup ought to be. Please explain?

Best .. Ian

Beautiful guitar. I love P90s ! I never played one that was in a tele before. I am sure it sounds great otherwise you would not have chosen it. I always love how teles sound through Tweed style amps.

Cheers

Stunning, just stunning. With a super roasted and quartersawn neck, he probably didn't need to install a truss rod at all. I like the body end access to it. I have a roasted neck tele, and after tuning up with 14-56 strings I didn't have to torque it at all. Beautiful woods and my favorite finish. Congrats, it looks like there's a supply of new songs in there.

Beautiful. Swamp Ash is sweet wood! Let's hear it when you get a chance.
