Yeha I hear magnets are a pita to ship. I accidentally ordered a 15ohm celestion alnico gold, when I wanted 8, and when I told amazon, they were like. "we'll just refund you, returning it is too complex, you can keep it, and/or buy the right one" I was like... yeah I'll just keep it.

I've had USPS hold, then send back my overseas shipments because they figured out a loudspeaker has a magnet. Uh, duh...only for the last 19 years I've been shipping them. And they don't refund your original shipping cost, either, even though you properly declared what it was on the customs form.

Then I get to ship it with USPS again and it goes right through...after a 30 day stay in the sorting facility in LAX. No joke, it happened 4-5 times since the COVID thing started. PITA.

So I can see why they told you to just keep it.
