Made of walnut and purple heart, neck thru, 6.5 pounds. Really enjoying this!

Anyhow, aside from the lack of a head and with the tuners in the wrong place, it looks like a great acquisition. If you don't mind, I'd like to know how it feels in your hands, and in particular how well the guitar is balanced. Is it bottom heavy?

One of my work buddies got a different branded 7 string similar to that with no headstock and tuners at the bottom, it was so light it was insane and super fast fretboard. I definitely liked it a ton. this one looks cool as well. Nice gear grab!

It feels GREAT in the hands. Sitting or standing, really nicely balanced. Can’t believe we laughed at Alex and Geddy in the late 80s playing headless Steinbergers.

 Blasphemer!

Also, Allan Holdsworth favored the Steinberger, then the Delap, and finally his signature Kiesels!
