Founder of Sequential Circuits, Prophet synths, & father of MIDI passed away at 72. He was supposed to appear at the NAMM show in a few days, so it seems quite unexpected. https://www.synthtopia.com/content/2022 ... -has-died/

Always seems too soon.
Happy that he had such a successful life, making his knowledge into products that changed the field, and music itself. Truly a pioneer and giant. I'd be proud to accomplish half as much.
