Mosky Golden Horse thing

Post by Reeltarded »

Mosky is a Chinese brand of pedals.

I don't know if you watch the JHS pedal channel on Youtube, but they do A/B comparisons of clones on occasion.

The chat and the player said the Mosky was the Centaur. Save $7,968.00. $32.00 shipped with Amazon Prime.

It's all about the germanium. All hail Germania.. uhoh.. :o

There is one on Reverb for $20.

Just so long as Mosky is not really an anagram for "SMOKY", then you might be fine.

(Except Mosky IS an anagram for "smoky". Hmmmm......)

I can't vouch for an actual Klon, but the RYRA Clone pedal rocks. I got on the waitlist and received a Prince of Tone pedal a few years back. It died by my 5th time using it, so I guess WTF, right?
Just plug it in, man.

I swear yesterday was dependable.

For $7000 I am going to buy 230 Mosky pedals and use them for chocks, door stops, drive pedals.. instagram photography pedestals.. glove box pranks..

I wish I weren't so lazy. I want to try a diode matrix at the master on this amp I can see from here. Gah.. folding time is simple. Folding space is hard. There is a possibility that the circuit is already done in another Universe if I believe in bad physics.

Many machines on IX. New machines. Better than those on Richesse.

PS: The clipper experiment was a NOPE DO'WNT DO IT off the TS situation but it worked fine off the master.

Still makes it frequency dependant. Might annoy some people. I'm annoying so it's ok.

All this taken into consideration, I just learned that gold isn't even from our planet.

Maybe I'll think twice on balking at the cost of those gold-plated RCA jacks for my next tremolo build, or the Golden Horse pedal...

I know my way around Klons and that pedal is no slouch. Change the clippers to D9E for an enhanced experience though.

I had one . Did sound not bad.

I also had their plexi pedal.
Really good one and sounds fantastic over the Steel String Singer amp, so I decided to buy another one for a different pedal board. The latter sounded horrible and didn't clean up when rolling off the volume knob.
Scoped the thing: crossover distortion.
The first one doesn't have crossover distortion.
Contacted Mosky: no reaction.
It's a risk. I'm considering to do my first smd opamp replacement or throwing it in the trash bin.

Two pedals arrived. First sounds like Jeff Beck.

Second untested. First sounds like Jeff Beck.

Second pedal is non-op. Also sounds hatefully like Jeff Beck.
