I had to go past the Firefox warning that it might be a dangerous site. I think it is probably a simple configuration issue. The copyright date is 2022, so that looks reasonably fresh to me.

Tokens for your bravery, sir. I can confirm the email listed previously works, and I've heard back from Seaside. This is good.

Looks like their cert has expired. Common problem, and easy to forget. Someone might want to tell them. It's from a valid signor (godaddy) it just expired in december. They likely need to pay to renew i.

Refund request sent. I was hoping to connect via a Reverb transaction, but no dice. Hope you’re well, Steve.

Just got word from Steven, over at synaptic amplification, he's been overwhelmed with issues of family health, etc.

He's back at it now it seems. Digging out of the backlog.

I stand corrected, he just told me he's still digging out of IRL stuff for a bit, so he's maybe going to be a bit before he get's back to it.

Indeed, Steve has contacted me about my request several times since emerging from more important matters. What a great guy. He does great work, and I told him to focus on the greater needs first. Like the Ardbeg 10 I just cracked into. It smacks mildly of sipping a burned band-aid (notes of scab and formocresol), but what the f#ck do I care? I feel great!

On another note, my Seaside chassis is about to ship. There you have it.

Right so following up on the Synaptic business...

On 2/24 I emailed Steve to first make sure he was available a few custom chassis for me. We discussed dimensions an specs and he said he could make them for me and so on 2/28 he sent me an invoice for four chassis which I paid immediately. A month later on 3/28 after hearing nothing I emailed to ask if there was an ETA for the order. He responded that he'd been flooded with personal stuff and that he was trying to get back on track. A few more weeks pass and I email on 4/17 asking for an update, which gets zero response. I follow up on 4/26 asking if its possible the order can be filled or will we have to do a refund and still no response.

So its been two months and nothing. Two of these chassis are for amp orders, luckily both customers are extremely flexible on time and being cool, but it's getting to a ridiculous point. I'm thinking about just ordering some chassis from Seaside to fill these orders. Its a bit less convenient for me because they dont do rivnut installaton, but I can get by with that I suppose.

So followup question: Anyone have any recommendations for rivnut setting tools?
I build effects and amps and do custom builds to order. Boom.

I bought this one:

I've used it for 2 chassis and it works fine.

HF appears to be upping it's game on tool quality.

I use something like this that I bought from HF. Works fine and comes with different size tips. I order the rivnuts off ebay typically.
