What is the dirtiest amp you have every worked on?

Post by maxkracht »

I have repaired things from floods, fires, and the occasional mouse nest or dead bug, but this is the worst I've seen. Has anyone worked on something worse? There were dead roaches IN the choke...

Gawd, yes. Amps stored in barns. Mouse and insect nests and droppings. Nasty.

A Super Reverb the customer stored in a carport rather than clinb the stairs into his house with. Dead roaches and spider nests, but the mold was too much. I slid it back into the cab and said no. Too toxic for my COPD.

Thanks. Cockroach inside of a burned out choke still haunts me...
