Here is a freshly opened Mesa amp and note the warning on the bag it ships in looking you in the face when you open the box.
Is this really necessary, and if so then why is this same warning not printed on new box’s of kitchen garbage bags?

Sluckey's got the 'what' and the 'why' is that people have lost children this way, so they sued the companies and probably won a huge settlement so those have become mandated either by law or by lawyers to protect people.
Whether that's right or wrong is up to you to decide.
