Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

It'll never be as cool as a BBE sonic maximizer. I doubt these guys have ever even maximized their sonics

I eat at sonic a lot so I should know

At least this implies the use of actual microphones on actual instruments. You can't always trust the intern will know how to tab to transient AND snap to grid.

When you have 10 or more thingys spread around a drum kit you have tradeoffs with phase relations, isolation, tone, etc.. just about everyone nudges stuff around one way or another.

Plus, once you get everything phase aligned, it’s easier for the robot to slice and dice or compress and expand time in a way that makes it sound like you know how to play your instrument in the first place.

Auto-Align 2 eliminates comb-filtering, minimizes transient smearing, and spectrally optimizes the phase of each mic to deliver the full and defined sound captured by the microphones.
In other words, it sterilizes your recording and removes anything that might make it sound more natural.

Comb filtering is not a great reality. BRAT! turns to BBBBRRRRAAAATTTT!!!!

One day, the World's best selling recording will be made with a $30 headset.
